Dannah Phirman
Dannah Phirman is a New York City transplant and among the founding performers of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York. With her writing partner Danielle Schneider, she wrote and starred in the show "Eye Candy" directed by Amy Poehler, which was an official selection of HBO’s US Comedy Arts Festival. Together they created the show "Dead Heiresses" which was developed as a pilot for Comedy Central. They also wrote "Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2" for Disney, "Catfight" for Newline and "Boys Are Stupid, Throw Rocks at Them" for Universal Studios.
Most recently, Dannah starred in "Newsreaders" on Adult Swim and wrote, produced and starred in Hulu’s "Hotwives of Orlando." She voices ‘Word Girl’ on "WordGirl" on PBS, has appeared in "Blackballed: The Bobby Dukes Story," "Late Night with Conan O’Brien" and was a featured cast member on FOX's "Mad TV."
