DC Pierson

DC Pierson is the author of the novel "The Boy Who Couldn't Sleep And Never Had To," which received the American Library Association's ALEX award, and the young adult novel "Crap Kingdom," published by Viking Children's Books in 2013.

He is also one-fifth of the comedy group DERRICK. He co-wrote and co-starred in the group's film "Mystery Team," which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2009 and was released theatrically by Lionsgate / Roadside Attractions.

As an actor, he's appeared on "Key and Peele," "Weeds," "Community," "Comedy Bang! Bang!," "NTSF:SD:SUV::," "Up All Night," "1600 Penn," and in the movies "The To-Do List," "Grassroots," "Cherry," and "Awful Nice." He's performed his storytelling show "DC Pierson Is Bad At Girls" nationwide. He was a featured stand-up at SXSW 2012.
