James Urbaniak

James Urbaniak is the voice of Dr. Venture on the Adult Swim animated series The Venture Brothers.

Film credits include "American Splendor" (as Robert Crumb), "You Don't Know Jack," "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind," "Sweet and Lowdown," "Across the Universe," "Sound of My Voice," "Drones" (written by the Thrilling Adventure Hour's Acker & Blacker) and several films for Hal Hartley including "Henry Fool," "No Such Thing" and "Fay Grim." Extensive TV work includes "The Office," "Homeland," "The Good Wife," "Weeds," "Sex and the City," "The Life and Times of Tim," "Unforgettable" and the Comedy Central series "Review with Forrest MacNeil" (starring Andy Daly). Theatre credits include an Obie Award for Richard Foreman's "The Universe" and the Edinburgh Fringe's Best Actor award and NY Drama Desk nomination for Will Eno's solo play "Thom Pain (Based on Nothing)." James is a member of the Thrilling Adventure Hour's Workjuice Players and can be seen in the Paul and Storm webseries "LearningTown."
