Despite being raised as a little Jewish lady in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where a man’s best friends are his Bible and his gun, and his worst enemy is some loud mouthed girl who thinks she might got something to say, Marcia Belsky still learned how to read and write good and to love to laugh. After moving to Portland, Oregon at 18, she performed all around the Pacific NW and Northern California until making the recent jump to NYC, where she’s been scouring the Big Apple for all the laughs she can find. Her humor can verge on the political, but never without being charming. She can eviscerate an idiot, but never without a touch of well-humored empathy.
