Matt Mira

Matt Mira is a writer/comedian originally from Lowell, MA. Who moved to LA in 2007 to pursue comedy. In early 2010, comedian/TV personality Chris Hardwick, asked Matt to bring his love of NASA & comedy to the "Nerdist" podcast where he currently serves as a Co-Host along with writer/comedian Jonah Ray. When the show moved to television on BBC America Matt served as co-host, producer and head writer. From August of 2011 to January 2012, Matt served as a Senior Segment Producer and on air tech expert for G4's "Attack of the Show." After the show’s original host left, Matt often served as guest host. Cultivating over 60,000 twitter followers, Matt teamed with writer/producer Scott Mosier for a Bi- weekly podcast called "Four Eyes and Beard" and in 2013 Matt teamed up with Superego’s Matt Gourley for a popular weekly podcast dedicated to their love of James Bond called "James Bonding."

In LA, Matt can be found as a repeat guest at the weekly Meltdown show, and with writer/comedian Kumail Nanjiani, he started a popular monthly show, Star Drek, highlighting the very worst of Star Trek. Currently Matt is serving as a staff writer on Comedy Central’s Nightly comedy show "@midnight."
