Talkies is a show where standup comedians work outside of their regular routines; videos, powerpoint presentations, and characters are the deal. Started by George Chen and Anna Seregina, the show has been an anchor of Lost Weekend Video's comedy programming every First Friday.

The Sketchfest edition features Alex Falcone, Keith Lowell Jensen, Kyle Mizono,  Scott Simpson and Scott Vermeire.

"All together, it was a terrific variety show with some very talented people, done in a small space that embraces risk taking. Well done." - WeHeartMusic $15 21+

Aviva Siegel

When Aviva Siegel hatched out of an egg and into the SF comedy scene, everyone was very surprised and impressed. Keith Lowell Jensen

Hi. I'm Keith Lowell Jensen. I perform stand up comedy because I have an overwhelming compulsion to share and have found that this is more palatable if I am funny, and because I have not been good at other things I have tried. I hope to also be compassionate, gentle, and kind while doing my part to fight the pigs. | | I have four comedy specials out; To The Moon, Cats Made of Rabbits, Elf Orgy, and Atheist Christmas. I love you.

Land Smith

Land Smith was born in a hole. He eats birds, twigs, and seeds. People are frightened at first because they think he is a talking Easter Island head, but they are quickly put at ease by his brilliant one-liners and on-stage confidence. He has performed at the Punch Line, Berkeley Art Museum, SF Sketchfest 2013, and is a co-producer of the multimedia comedy show Talkies. | | "Land Smith is really going places, comedy-wise." | | "Everybody... Scott Simpson

Scott Simpson once came back to the U.S. from Japan by boat, lying to his girlfriend that it was for the adventure when really it was because he was afraid of flying. He’s now a full-time comedian and writer who has performed at SF Sketchfest, the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, and the North American Comedy and Music Festival. He makes jokes on Twitter as @scottsimpson, and his show “You Look Nice Today” has received the Podcast... Read More →
